News From Your Senior Regent – March 2018

March brings us much Green and Leprechaun’s Luck of the Irish. Mark your calendar for 3/10 – Craft Fair, 3/17 – St Patty’s day dinner along with the Kenosha Area Pipes & Drums performing for us right at our own Kenosha lodge, then on 3/24 – Kid’s Easter Party (attendees must pre-register) as we do not want any child walking away empty-handed without an Easter basket.

The mid-year conference will be held in Green Bay on March 8-10th so co-workers can learn what is new and help motivate us to finish up a strong chapter year on April 30th.

Keep on building membership! Continue to ask family & friends to join the Moose. Have a member sign you in as a guest and visit our lodge, or attend an orientation session to learn about who we are (see newsletter calendar for date & time orientation takes place). And don’t forget the First Responders are FREE thru April 30, 2018!

Thanks, Rose Mifflin for taking time to hold the “Bake-less Bake Sale” fundraiser via the Northwoods while caring for her mother, it totally works no matter where you are and shows how much you care!

I would like to say “THANK YOU” to all our Wednesday bingo players for their clothing donations to help the Community Outreach Clothing Drive project I was running thru the month of February. You all are an amazing group of people we have here on Wednesday’s and the Moose truly appreciates all your efforts to help us out when projects are announced. I would like to also thank
Mark Schneider for his efforts of taking the donations to the Community Outreach location, your service is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to our March co-worker/volunteer of the month: Karen Mullins Karen works hard and shows dedication at the woman’s night Bingo events – thank you for all you do!

WOTM still have officer “open positions” for the upcoming New Year. If interested please contact any board member or submit an application from the hallway bulletin board.

Maybe the board of officers is not for you, however, volunteering might be what you need. Just attend an event or contact any board member as we can find your talent for you!
