Hello Fellow Co-workers,
As I sit in the backyard finally enjoying a 60+ degree day, I realize how blessed I am to have grown up here in a great family and what a blessing it must be for the kids at Mooseheart to have a place where they can feel safe. I am honored to be your Sr. Regent for the 2019/20 Term starting May 1. I grew up here at our Kenosha Moose Lodge, going to the kids’ parties and picnics. Speaking of kids’ parties, how awesome was this year’s Easter Party? I want to thank Donna Thew and Diane Smart and their committee for all of their hard work.
I myself have held my own membership for the past 8 years, but it was only last year that I was asked if I wanted to get more involved. If you are ready to get more involved, don’t wait for someone to ask, please, let us know. We can use your talents. In the next few weeks, you should be receiving a letter from Diane Smart and me with a committee assignment. Please be watching for it. Remember: “A burden heavy to one is borne lightly by many.”
I’d like to congratulate Sr. Regent Joanne Horner on her outstanding year of service and look forward to working with her and the rest of the board this upcoming year!
