Our club has been selected for “Tavern of the Game” honors at Miller Park. Our date is Friday September 20 vs. Pittsburgh. We will receive 40 tickets to the game and some special seating and stuff at the ballpark. A bus trip is being planned and a raffle to distribute the tickets to our members. “Tavern of the Game” is sponsored by the Wisconsin Tavern League. This is our second time chosen. Check our emails and newsletter for more details.

Wednesday night softball is joined by horseshoe pitchers and BAGGO tossers. Don’t forget bingo in our indoor halls. This makes for a very busy and enjoyable evening. Stop out. The refreshment stand is open every night there is outside activity.
After a very wet and chilly spring, it seems the weather is getting better.
Notes: Our annual picnic is coming up on August 25th. This is a family gathering of our members to enjoy the end of summer, have some good food and beverage and enjoy live music. BUT! This doesn’t happen by itself. Volunteers are needed for every aspect of the event. Consider spending an hour or two helping set-up, helping with the food, soda, and sign-up. There is more to do. There will be a sign-up sheet very soon in the main lobby of our club. Come check out the picnic needs and sign up.
