Administrator’s Corner – June 2020

Well we’re back.

Lodge will re-open on June 1st after two and a half months of being closed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. We will be doing a slow opening with limited events and bands.

Social distancing will be required till further notice.

Some tables and chairs have been removed from the Social Quarters to maintain distancing. Temperature checks will be administered upon entry into the lodge. Moose International is requesting all members sign a waiver to enter the lodge as well. Bartenders are required to wear masks and wash or sanitize their hands after each made drink. So please be patient with them. We want all of you to be safe and able to return back to us.

As you can see a number of events have been cancelled as we come back to our new reality. Trivia nights are scheduled but may be cancelled as well. The picnic is scheduled but may be cancelled or altered.

Bingo is canceled for now until the social distancing is lifted. So please bear with us as we move forward. The board of officers wants to get back on pace as quickly as we can just like you do. This will take time.

Our pavilion is open all week as we can maintain the requirements a lot easier out there. So I hope to see you all there. We hope you come down to the lodge and enjoy yourself with your friends and neighbors. Times have changed but I know we all can get through this and live our lives the best we can for now. Friday night fish fry is drive-through and carry out for now as well. One thing, Vicky’s food is still very good and delicious.

Fraternally yours and stay safe,
Rich Smart, Administrator
