Wow! Did October go quickly, or what?!? We’d like to welcome our new Senior Regent, Donna Thew, and thank Vicky Lubecke for stepping in during the transition. We’d also like to welcome our newly installed chairmen: Joanne Horner- Membership Retention, Maria Coscia- Community Service, and Dawn Fugate- Sports and Activities.

We are proud to announce that we have a new Sunshine Child, her name is Harmony and she is just as cute as can be!
November 1-7 is Member Retention Week. Membership table times are as follows for the week: Sunday 11-3, Monday- Saturday 5-7. All week we will have entries available for purchase for some wonderful raffles. Want to earn free raffle tickets? Bring a qualified guest during membership table times, sponsor a new member during table times and/or renew your membership during table times. We are starting off on Sunday with our Packer Party, followed by Orientation at 4:30pm. Monday will bring meatball bombers to the lodge. We all shout Ole’ for Taco Tuesday. How about some mostaccioli on Wednesday or chili for the Packer Party on Thursday? Friday will be Victoria’s Cafe. We round out Saturday with Sloppy Joe’s and the raffle drawing at 7 pm. Bring a friend and show them what the Moose is all about.
We are going to flip flop our November meetings due to election proceedings being held in the hall. On November 3 our Business meeting will be held in the Scout Room. Please meet in the Social Quarters and we will move downstairs together. There is an elevator available for those that might need it. Our November 18th meeting will honor Debbie Schneider, who will be receiving her Red Stole. On Saturday, November 14th, from 7am- noon in conjunction with the LOOM we will be having a drive-up drop off for coats and hygiene products to help our local community. Please make sure coats are in good condition and laundered. If you’d like us to shop for you, we are also taking cash donations.
Look for the sign ups for our wreath making class on November 28th.
November 21st brings our Miss Bull-Moose Pageant. Admission is $5. There will be limited VIP seats available for $10. Come see the Men of the Moose strut their stuff in evening gowns, swimwear, and talent. Want to participate, there are still spots available! Please join us on Saturday, December 5th as we light the Kenosha Moose Tree. Cookies and Cocoa will be available for purchase. This will be the Ways and Means Activity night.
Wow, looks like November is shaping up to be a busy month! Can’t wait to see you all around the lodge. Please remember, if you are feeling sick, stay home. If you have an elevated temperature, you will be asked to leave, don’t take this personally, it’s the rules. If you have been in contact with someone that has tested positive, please spend some time at home. Our lodge is taking every precaution to keep us all safe, but it’s our responsibility to keep each other safe as well.
