September 14th through the 17th will the State’s annual convention for the Moose in
Fond Du Lac. This year we have the honor of having our own Director General Scott
Hart as our official visitor. If you can make it to one convention, this is it. We will have
firsthand information from Moose International. If you can make it for just one day it
will be worth the trip. Registration forms are in the front hallway.

September 23rd will be our “Oktobeerfest” held at our pavilion oasis. Brian Vergenz
and Andy Burger will cook food for the event. Willie Sterba will be our entertainer
and master of ceremonies. The party starts at 4:00 pm. It should be a lot of fun and
good eats. Garden Tractor pulls will start at 1:00 pm earlier in the day for a full day of
fun.

September 30th will be another round of “Beer Booze & Bingo”. Starting at 7:00 pm.
Our Moose member’s picnic had some slight dampness but was a great event as
always. Lots of fun was had by all the family. Many thanks to all the volunteers that
made it a great success.
