Administrator’s Corner – July 2017

We just got done with a great Moosefest event. Everyone had a great
time and all went home happy. This could be the start of another great
fundraising event for the lodge, our members, and our community.
July 4th we will be closed for our members and employees to enjoy
the holiday with their families and friends. Don’t forget what this day
represents; remember our forefathers who sacrificed many hardships
to give us our independence and a free nation.
July 15th is our Wildcard and Moose races night. Joe and Rick have
made this a very fun night with some crazy free raffle items for
members to win. Their off the wall antics are something to see, don’t
miss this one.
July 21st is our first Cigars / Bourbon & music event. Starting at
around 7:00 pm we will have music playing at the pavilion and for $20
dollars get three fine cigars from Mike Gastaldi with a snifter of great
bourbon. Advance ticket sales; limited to first 20, so sign up early!
July 22nd is Beer/ Booze/ Bingo night starting at 7:00 pm. If you’re
sweltering at the festival, this will be a great place to come and cool off
and have some fun as well.
On Sunday the 23rd is our Moose Lodge Golf outing, sign-ups are
done, but there may be some openings still available to fill foursomes.
Check with Diane Gastaldi for more info.
The big event for August will be our lodge picnic. It’s been moved back
to SUNDAY on the 27th of the month. Many of our members missed
having it on Sunday so it’s back. We will have more information next
month so mark your calendars for fun.
Check out International and our states’ websites for great benefits for
being a member of the Moose. International is; mooseintl.org and the
State is wismoose.org. You can get links at kenoshamoose286.com.
