The new fiscal year is upon us. We have a new board of officers with
dedication to have another great year. Many thanks to all last years officers elected and appointed. We had a good year and it was because of your commitment to the members of this lodge that we were able to strive forward. We are still moving forward on the development of the property to the north of the lodge. It’s been a lot of hard work to get this far. The next couple of months should see some much-needed progress on this project. We’ll keep you posted.
The month starts out right away with another trivia night on May 4th with Rockin Russ. This is a great night and a lot of fun for all who play. Russ does a fantastic job in entertaining and trying to stump you.
May 12th is Mothers Day Breakfast starting at 8 am and going till 11 am. The officers of the lodge will be doing all the cooking for you. It will a special day for your Mom.
May 18th we will be having the band Relativity playing for you. They will start at 7:00 pm.
May 24th will be the last kid’s movie night for the summer. How to Train Your Dragon, the hidden World will be the feature to start play at 5:30 pm sharp. Ruth Matteucci and her crew make this a fun night for your kids.
Sunday, May 26th we will again be having a flag ceremony tribute for our troops. After the ceremony, we will be having dinner for our Moose Valued Vets. There’s still time to sign up for this great Moose program.
We will be closed on Monday, May 27th, Memorial Day. Please remember our fallen and those that made it back home. This is their special day.
Coming up in June the Moose Legion will be having a Pancake and Porky
breakfast for us on the 9th. Let’s support them for this fundraiser, come down and get some great food.
The WOTM will be doing the Fathers Day Breakfast on June 16th.
June 20th will be the Moose Legion picnic at the pavilion at 5:00 pm.
Moosefest will be returning June 21st through the 23rd. Another great band line up will be here.
The new fiscal year means new membership incentives to sign up new and former members. Keep your eyes peeled for these incentives for the Lodge, State, and International. We will post them as soon as we get them.
