Wow, what a month it’s been for me. I just got done with surgery on my knee and I won’t be moving around much the next month or so.
We still have one more Officer nomination meeting scheduled for June 9th at 5:30 pm. If you want to run for office this will be the last one before the lodge election on June 23rd. See Rich in the office for applications for office. We can use your help.
We had a successful run for signing up new or former members. Eight members earned a year’s free dues for signing up three members. Myself, Ken Walton, Donald Lowe, Kevin McCarron, Steve Mitchell, Greg Pawell, Joe Matteucci, and Rich Smart. Congratulations Brothers! I hope to see more of you earn a year’s free dues this year.
The board of officers has decided to hold off on bingo for awhile. We just don’t think it’s safe to have the back hall packed on a Wednesday. Social distancing won’t allow that. Volunteers and staff don’t want to come back right now as well. We’ll see in a couple of months if we can start up again or not. It’ll give me time for my knee to heal up so I can move around without pain again.
