May 1st starts a new year for the Lodge with a new board. I Mark Schneider accepted the position as your Governor. I rejoined the Lodge in 2004 and after 28 years of making tools I retired and now spend most of my time running Wednesday night Bingo and volunteering at the Lodge.
Taking the position as Governor will give me the opportunity to present changes for the betterment of the Lodge as I have heard you and will continue to listen to what recommendations you may have.
I would like to thank Joe for his past two years as Governor and know that his assistance as Past Governor for the next year will be valued. I am fortunate that the rest of the board officer’s stayed on for another year. They are an amazing group of brothers and know we will continue to keep the Lodge moving in the right direction. My primary objective as your Governor is to keep the Lodge moving in a positive direction to increase membership and enable us to continue to support our main objectives our kids at Mooseheart and the seniors at Moosehaven.
So let’s get this year started!
The WOTM purchased a new Jungle Jim playground set which came in many boxes and lots of nuts and bolts. Andy Burger and I have been working on getting things ready to put it up in time for all our summer activities. We need helpers and people with experience with setting this up. Please contact me at 515-3908 if you can help in any way. It’s going to
take many helping hands to get this set-up and it’s for our kids.
