News From Your Senior Regent – February 2020

Here we are in February. Well, the Packers made a pretty good run at it. If you are wondering what we are going to do now? Well we still have our lodge fun nights and trivia on deck. Check the Moose calendar and your email to see everything that’s happening.

Mid-year Conference is coming up in Green Bay, March 5-8. We are the hostess chapter and are still looking for items to fill our swag bags (160-200 items, this is a great way to advertise your business) and a few more door prize items.

February starts our election process. If you are looking to get more involved, please let us know. There are so many different roles to fill.

Please take a moment to check the expiration date on your card, are you current? If not, please get that taken care of as soon as possible. We have a large number of members that are not current as of now and if you aren’t current you cannot be at the lodge. Please expect a phone call/text message from the membership retention committee and myself over the next few weeks.

Do you know someone that would make a great member? It’s a great time of the year to join! Keep busy during these long winter months, come play cards, Bingo, volunteer in the Moose Kitchen at Bingo or even work at Bingo. Do you feel like baking? We can always use sweet treats for Bingo night.

February 8, the Racine Lodge is holding their first Quarter Auction, doors open at 1 come check it out, $5 admission fee, this event is open to the public. I know I’ll be there! Remember, your Moose card is good at every lodge in the world. Don’t forget to checkout other lodges when you are out and about.

February 15, the Washington Park Velodrome will be hosting a Casino Night in the halls. This great community service event is looking for some volunteers. Don’t want to volunteer? Want to play? Tickets are available in the Social Quarters!

Stay warm,
Kellee Chwala
