I am so excited to see what this year brings. I get to work with a great team of ladies including the newly installed Women of the Moose (WOTM) board of officers: Jr. Regent – Elsa Weller, Recorder – Debra Keslov, Secretary/Treasurer – Sharon Jandrowski, and Jr. Graduate Regent – Chris Schneider. Appointed officers are Guide – Colleen Bunner and Assistant Guide – Amy Stevens. I also want to thank the following ladies for accepting a committee chair position for the 2018-2019 year: Membership Retention – Kellee Abozoglai, Community Service – Dawn Zuchowski, ports/Activities – Kendall Sinclair, Mooseheart/Moosehaven – Patti Mason, and Higher Degree – Tina Standridge. The Audit Committee includes Chair – Peggy Gallo and Members – Ruth Matteucci and Sue Freisheim. The Application Review Committee includes Chair – Jen Scarlatto and Members – Jackie Ramey and Donna Thew.
This group of ladies has a lot of new and fun ideas! Stay tuned and join us at the events coming up this year! Victoria’s Catering did a fantastic job for Mother’s Day. The food was amazing, and we had a great turnout. If you did not make it, you missed a wonderful meal. You have another chance for a great breakfast on June 17th! Come on out with your Dad’s to celebrate Father’s Day and enjoy another fantastic meal from Victoria’s Catering!
If you are available on Wednesdays, we would love to have you come help in the Bingo kitchen. We are usually there from about 4 PM until about 7:30 PM. Food is served from 5-7 PM. On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, the WOTM run Bingo. On those nights, we can also use volunteers out on the floor to help. If you can make it, even once a month, we would really appreciate it!
Meeting reminder: The WOTM meetings are held on the 1st (Activity Night) and 3rd (Business Meeting) Tuesdays at 7 PM. We are always happy to see some new faces at the meetings. It is a great way to meet some new people and hopefully make some new friends, in addition to staying in the know of what is happening throughout the year. I would love to have you join us.
Sincerely,
Joanne Horner, Senior Regent
