Wow! What a year we’ve had. Let’s face it, the only thing constant this year is change! While most of the changes have been challenging, there are a lot of opportunities they have provided for us. While quarantined we were able to slow our lives down like never before. We got to take time for our immediate families who in today’s world are often so busy shuffling around between sports and social activities that there often isn’t time for a home cooked meal. A lot of people made more meals in those months than they had in the prior years, maybe even some bread! The Moose has been no different, we adapted as the quarantine lifted and the social quarters reopened. We came back together, In smaller groups, trying to remain physically distant, but longing to be social. We carry our masks and spend more time outside, and are blessed by the beautiful facilities that we have. We are family, reuniting after a long absence. The WOTM board is also going through a change with the resignation of our Senior Regent. We are currently forming a nomination committee. The slate will be read on October 6, 2020, and the vote will be taken on October 20. We are working on filling now vacant chair positions as well, so please stay tuned for your committee assignments.
Christmas in October is here! At our meeting on October 6th bring your donations for Mooseheart and Moosehaven for our annual Parade of Stockings! Watch for the Rockers in the Social Quarters as well… you know we love this competition!!!
October 24th will be our trunk-or-treat style Halloween Party at noon, please make sure to register your kiddos! We are still looking for volunteers. The adult Halloween Party will be on Halloween, October 31, get those costumes ready!
