Sports Committee – December 2019


Monday night in-house pool continues. Mike Miller is the chairman for the league. First break is at 6:30 pm. Stop in and catch the action or for Monday night Football on the TV’s.

The Monday and Wednesday morning pool leagues have started as well. Andy Burger and Doug Johnson are the co-chairman. Social Quarters opens at 9:30 am each day and lunch will be served from 11:30 am till 1 pm.
State Pool Tournament will be the weekend of January 18th at the Muskego Lodge. Sign up sheets are on the way and will be posted as soon as we get them.

State Dartball tournament will be January 11th at the EKM Lodge #1238.

State 301 darts will be in Racine and State bowling will be in Green Bay. Dates for darts and bowling are still pending. Enter on-line or pick up an entry form from our bulletin board when they come available.

The Green Bay Packers will finish up the season this month. December 1st at the Giants; the 8th at Green Bay against Washington; the 15th has da
Bears in Green Bay; Monday night the 23rd the Pack is in Minnesota and wing up the season at Detroit on the 29th. Game times are at the mercy of the NFL due to flex scheduling by them. There will be Packer parties for all the games and into the post season as well.

The Holiday lights display continues at Mooseheart in Illinois. Mooseheart and Moosehaven are the main benefactors of our members generosity. The Holiday lights feature 80 displays along an 18 mile route. A $10 per car donation is requested.

December 24th is Member appreciation at our lodge. Stop in for Holiday cheer and fellowship. Our lodge will be closed on Christmas day December 25th.

New Years Eve tickets are now on sale. Music by the Chevelle’s. $25 per person includes buffet dinner, midnight toast to 2020 and dancing.

The club will be closed on January 1st, unless the Badgers play in a Bowl game on that day. Merry Christmas , and prosperous 2020.
