Outside activities are pretty much done for this year. There is still time to come out and enjoy the area. The softball leagues have finally finished play. Our two Monday teams made the playoffs and our Wednesday night
team didn’t do as well, but they had a good time. Lionel Llanas, Gary Peterson, and “Slick” Vic Plaisted managed the teams.
The Baggo players tossed until the weather and daylight ended the competition. Thanks to James Mosley, Fred Storz and others for their efforts.
In Wednesday horseshoes Merwyn Tetzlaff teamed with Jerry Simonsen to take first place. Three members competed in the State Horseshoes in Beloit. Jerry Simonsen, Andy Vacca, and Richard Legler each did well in their respective divisions. Jerry Simonsen chaired the league.
